Any advice or similar personal experiences welcome!!😭
Here’s my story. I have 2 cousins that have been in NM Foster Care for 2 1/2 yrs. Parents lost their PR almost a year ago. CO has approved me for Kinship. NM wants me to be licensed however CO doesn’t require Kinship to be licensed. I have completed EVERYTHING for my licensure and was assigned a Certification Worker Thursday. Found out yesterday that because I am legally Married (separated for over a year!) CO is unable to approve my license. CO won’t allow my husband to get certified because we are not living in the same home and even if we did, his background more than likely wouldn’t pass. NM won’t give me some time to get a Divorce….. they want the boys adopted immediately now. Which the current Foster Family would like to do. 😭😭😭😭

I have been doing weekly Zoom visits with my cousins, placement date has been set for June 2nd for the boys to come to CO and I was supposed to see them in person for the first time today and have a weekend pass with them next wknd. 😭😭

I’m crushed to say the least but I refuse to give up!!
Where there’s a will, there is a way!! 🙏🙏🙏 🙏

Has anyone gone through something similar?  Any advice/resources, ANYTHING is greatly appreciated!!

I NEED HELP!!! Please!!!
