With a chill in the air we anxiously anticipate college football because that’s what Ohioans do….they catch Buckeye Fever!!! Our children love getting decked out in Scarlet and Gray, listening to the best band in the land, crowding into the “Shoe” and they totally dig the face tattoos! Football brings us together in a special way and I hope it will bring lasting memories to my children. After all, one of the first words that our children could spell was O H I O !!!!

I love this picture. We are huge Buckeye fans at our house too, but don’t have all the gear to fit our kids at the moment (my daughter had a cheerleading outfit, my son a jersey, like your son’s). Obviously, I need to go shopping! Anyway, I wanted to ask you if you heard about an Adoption Family Camp that is starting this summer in Hiram, Ohio. I’m on the committee that’s creating it. It’s for transracial adoptive families with children who are African-American or adopted from the African Dispora. The deadline for early registration is May 15, 2013.
