Adoption Photo: Sign of True Acceptance

Alyssa did not get a lot of warning before Zachary joined our family, and it took her a while to adjust to him.  When we came home after church Easter morning (Zachary was 3 months old), Zachary was sleeping, so we left him in his car seat while we went to change out of our church clothes.  When I came out of the bedroom, I found Alyssa sitting by Zachary’s car seat adoring the tiara she had placed on his head…a true sign of acceptance from our little princess.  Zachary slept through it all.
