About my family...
I took a foster child in when she was three months old. I tried not to fall in love with her, but that was futile. When she went back to her birthmom at 7 months, I was devastated. Fortunately for me, she came back when she was 11 months old. I am a single mother of this one delightful little girl who is now almost 4.
Unique aspects of our adoption story...
I think all adoptions are unique. I love hearing all the stories of how children came in to people’s lives. Unfortunately, my daughter’s story is quite complicated, so I don’t share it with people who are not close to me.
