We are a “blended” family, both through Biological and Adoption.  Our 2 biological children are 21 and 19.  Our adopted children are 9, 7 and 6.  We are also “blended” by race.  Our biological children are caucasian and our adopted children are Biracial and African American.  Our family is AGAIN “blended” because our adoptions are completely OPEN.  Our children come from 3 different birth families.  Our children’s Birth Families are an addition to ours…ONE BIG COMPLETE FAMILY!  We have very frequent visits that include ALL family.

Our children’s birth siblings spend alot of time visiting us.  Over Christmas break our son’s Birth Sister and birth Brother stay with us.  In SUmmer our oldest adopted daughter’s 2 Birth Brothers and Birth Sister spend a couple or so weeks with us.  Also in Summer our son’s Birth Sister spends a good part of Summer break with us.  Often, our son’s Birth Siblings will spend weekends with us.  Our youngest daughter’s Grandma call us once a week.  She sees her Birth Mom and baby sister very often.  When her Birth Mom was young, she would spend all school breaks with us as well.

Our family enjoys SOccer, Basketball, Tae Kwon Do, Dance, Musicals, Hiking, traveling and anything we can do as a family.
