sterilizing lactaid?

Hi! We were just placed w our son. Anyone have insight on how to sterilize lactaid for first use? Any advice on using it for first time? thanks!

According to the instruction manual:
1.  Soak 20-30 minutes in vinegar/water solution.
2.  Rinse with distilled water.
3.  Air dry, or fill and assemble Lact-Aid units.

Boil for 5-10 minutes feeding-tube assembly, tube connector, bag tube, tubular formula strainer and cleaning syringe.  Do not boil funnel, bag-filling bracket, or bag-clamp ring.

Also, scroll down on this page for a link to a youtube video on using the Lact-Aid:

Congratulations on your placement!

We did the vinegar soak and rinse.

Personal tip: learning to use the lactaid, and to nurse in general (for you and baby AND partner!) is a learning experience so try different things until you set on what works for you!  There are lots of other posts on this group for you to read through and see how others approached it.
