I emailed my consultant ever week and remaindered her I was interested. She told me she got a call late one night driving home from work and the only couples whose name she could remember without being at her desk to look was our, probably because we contacted her often. If you can get placed in your state it is much faster than interstate, but I know of several good websites I look at like that the adoptions are though the state or nearly free:

PS- On a side note we did foster to adopt and in a short period fostered 6 kids, 3 went home and 3 became adoptable, we adopted 1 of the 3 and through that open adoption got a private infant adoption and then are doing another private infant adoption of our little girls siblings…. I think foster to adopt is a great option. Hard but a lot of kids that need homes. We have all of our kids because of it. All babies to. Good Luck!

I am in the Philadelphia area as well - and I just heard of a “Project Cuddle” . . . you may want to look into that too!
