Thank you so much for creating this group! I’m looking forward to meeting others who have adopted or are waiting to adopt in our area. We (husband, Sam & daughter, Taylor) just moved from Birmingham, and now live on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. We’re a family of 3, hoping to adopt again & become a family of 4 (or 5!). My husband and I live in Montgomery and are hoping to adopt in the next year. Our homestudy is complete and we are jumping through some additional hoops for the state. I haven’t seen any post on here about APAC, Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections. We did our GPS classes through them and they have been an awesome support to us.

My wife Sarah and I recently moved to Huntsville with our 4 year old son Caleb and we are looking for other adopted families to spend time with. If anyone knows of ways to connect with other families please let us know.

My husband & I are in the Cherokee County area and are currently in the process of our Home Study. I am just so overwhelmed by it all. Glad to know there are others out there.
