Trying to write down things!

I have been trying, have written down a few words. There is so much to do, it’s hard to take a break and write. I have taken some photos—-even of us filling out the paper work and mailing it off! I have some little momentos form nice things friends have written. I plan to make a Facebook book——it’s a new thing!

Hi! I have avoided this but since I *may* have a match now I want to start a Lifebook. Have you found any you liked?
It is amazing how fast you forget things. I already had to look up on my phone when the agency called about this possible match, I couldn’t remember if it is 1/30 or 1/31! If this IS the one I want to track it from the start, like a love letter to this little one who may become a part of our family grin

I just tried to write down the dates for everything, so we’d have a timeline. I also included copies of our reference letters, our “Dear Birthmother Letter”, and the like. I did books from scratch, but there are two lifebooks out there that I know about. One is “Our Chosen Child” and that’s the one friends gave me. I think it’s fine. I prefer doing my own thing, but if you’re not a scrapbooker, or you want some guidance, it’s really not bad.

Does anyone know of a lifebook that works for both the adoptive and birth families? Our expectant parent likes the ideas of us having matching books—-
