Ours took one month as I assured that the paperwork reached them my the 10th. As an officer we get paid once a month, but think enlisted get paid twice a month. Either way, it should be quick as long as you get them the right paperwork.
Ours took about a month as well. Just ensure your paperwork is complete the first time you file it and it should go quickly. Congrats!
