If you are open to special needs then check out special angels adoption group on facebook. They facilitate adoptions of special needs babies and children and costs are minimal. They are not an agency and do not charge for matching. Costs are low, looking at mainly legal fees. Otherwise just be very cautious when self matching, there are so many scammers out there and i have heard countless stories of people who found their dream match online, put in thousands of dollars, and in the end did not get to adopt

You will need an adoption professional involved, at minimum an attorney to file the paperwork.  As rn4kidz mentioned, there are scammers out there, so you need to be careful.  Having an experienced adoption professional involved can help avoid that.

If you are approved for special needs children, what is the problem with matching through an agency?
