we have just started with the process of adoption and as everyone knows it is expensive, does anyone have any ideas of ways to help pay for the adoption? we are still interviewing agency’s, we are here in lynchburg va, anyone have any suggestions? We want to adopt more than anything but the expense in large as most of you know so any insight would be great. thank you in advance

There are numerous ways! You can hold a garage sale and have friends and family donate items for you and advertise that it’s to raise money for your adoption. You can also think traditionally like a school would do: car wash, bake sale, etc.
Also. there is a website that you can sign up for and then tell all your family, friends, etc about it and raise money by having them purchase coffee.. you get money from every sale: justlovecoffee.com
Or make tshirts- something fun.. teh country you are adopting from or something and sell them to people.. most people sella t $20 - $25 to make a good profit to contribute to the adoption.
There are also scholarships and grants available.. you can google those!

I would also check with your employers. They often offer assistance for adoption.
