"Closed" Adoption Families
Help My Adoption Research!
Hello friends of adoption!
My name is Kristen Haberkorn and I am a graduate student and adoptee from the Communication Department at the Wake Forest University. I am writing to invite you to participate in my research study about family communication and functioning within adoptive families. You’re eligible to be in this study if you have adopted a child from the U.S. at infancy (0-2 years old).
If you decide to participate in this study, you will answer a questionnaire (about 80 questions), and then we’ll use the information to analyze data about adoptive families’ communication patterns and functioning.
Remember, this is completely voluntary. You can choose to be in the study or not. If you’d like to participate or have any questions about the study, please email or contact me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). The study number is: IRB00023387
I want the voices of adoption to be heard. Thank you so much.
