Hello!
Hello All,
I am new to this group and to the Adoptive Families website. I am the adoptive mother of two beautiful girls (a 2 year old and a 1 month old). My husband and I adopted domestically here in Ohio and have open adoptions with both of our children’s birth families. We are continuing our journey of exploring adoption and all that there is to learn. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this group, getting to know you all, and learning from each of you.

I’m Lori, mom to Tessa (9) and Reed (7). We are in open adoptions with all 4 first parents, to varying degrees. We are in Colorado.

I’m Gretchen, adoptive mother to Nicholas (2 yrs) and Linnea (13 months). Our children have the same birth mother and we are in an open adoption with her and her extended family. We also have an open adoption with our daughter’s birth father, but our son’s birth father is unknown.
We are currently in the process of moving from Switzerland to Chicago and are hoping to meet other adoptive families when we get to the Chicago area.

My name is Melissa and I am adopting 3 children ages 5,4 and 2 siblings with same mom. I am new to this also and I also live in KY. straight down 75 in Williamstown, Northern KY. I am going to try this open adoption thing with the mom but we already have visits with grandma and aunt and uncle. Their mom lives out of state so it is hard for somethings.
