Anyone in Canada?

Hi all,
It is really nice to see this group here, as adoptions from Japan are really few. It is getting really hard to adopt from any Asian countries here in Canada. Most of the time it can take about 2 to 5 years for your name to be included in the waiting list to submit an application. And the only available route to have a baby in less than 2 years are waiting children programs. So we are figuring out how the paperwork to bring our baby into the country. All the other stuff is completed (home assessment and applications). Looking to have our baby by summer (hopefully!) We are looking for other Canadians adopting from Japan out there. Thank you and looking forward some light in the end of the tunnel.

We are in BC, Canada, just starting the process would be interested in your progress, if you are still waiting or have adopted, thanks!
