Anyone adopting/has adopted from South Africa?

I’m considering the South Africa program (with Spence-Chapin) vs. a number of US routes (incl. adopt from foster care). I’d be VERY grateful to connect with or be pointed to any adoption from South Africa communities. One concern of mine is that, unlike longer-running int’l adoption programs, there are few/any country specific meet-ups/groups/camps/get-togethers for families formed through South African adoption. I’d like to raise an adopted child with the option (of course it is ultimately their choice) to have a strong third identity with South Africa (in addition to family one and a likely broader ethnic/racial one in the USA/African expat world). Any suggestions or advice out there?

Many thanks!
