    Casting Call!

Hi, Adoptive Families Circle Members, I’m a casting director with a production company called High Noon Entertainment. We are teaming up with a major cable network to produce a documentary series about the real life joy, laughter and heartache American families and mothers experience from every side of the adoption process. Are you: Pregnant and considering placing a baby through adoption? A couple or single parent looking to adopt? Are you in the process *right now*? Then we want to hear from you! We’re looking for dynamic people from all walks of life who have a current, compelling story focused on the adoption or surrogacy process. If you have a story you’d like to share, or if you know someone who does, please send a one- or two- paragraph summary and a digital photo of the person or people whose story is being told to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) //= 0; i=i-1){ if (l[i].substring(0, 1) == ' ') output += "&#"+unescape(l[i].substring(1))+";"; else output += unescape(l[i]); } document.getElementById('eeEncEmail_wKExoyuauU').innerHTML = output; //]]> . Or visit our website. You can also feel free to call me with questions at 310-943-5001. Our casting window is closing on Wednesday, July 21—so please get in touch ASAP. Once people are in the process with us, I can explain more about how the production might work. It’s a documentary style show, which means it’s about showing the true human emotion involved. We will interview participants, and ask that they let the cameras into their lives, but we will not otherwise ask them to change anything—it’s about documenting their journey. We don’t have criteria for what kinds of stories we want, except that we are hoping to document people before adoption, up to adoption and then just after the baby comes home. We are committed to featuring diverse families, and people from all walks of life. We are not, for the most part, able to work with the foster care or social services systems, because of their (perfectly reasonable) restrictions. We are also, for now, not able to work with international adoptions. Again, our casting window is closing next Wednesday, so we really need to speak with people ASAP. Thanks,—Michelle
