Introduction

Hi everyone! I�m Renee. My husband, Nick, and I live in Holiday, Florida, with our 3 1/2 year old son, Nicholas. We adopted Nicky from Guatemala. I was fortunate to be able to live in Antigua, Guatemala and foster Nicky myself during the adoption process. Nick joined us 3 weeks before we were able to bring Nicky home. I lived in Guatemala for 4 1/2 months, and we web-cammed with Nick every day! Together we brought Nicky back to Florida about a week after he turned 8 months old. Would love to meet up with other adoptive families. I put together a group in this area for Guatemala adoptive families and we try to meet and do various things about once a month. While living in Guatemala, I met so many wonderful families who were also adopting and fostering, and I�ve put together a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando in February.
