My son is 4 and has always known he was born in Kazakhstan and was adopted at 15 months old. He’s very comfortable with that idea and it comes up fairly frequently. My sister-in-law is now pregnant and I talk to him about the baby in Aunt Lizzie’s tummy and all that, but he doesn’t ask if he was a baby in my tummy so we can talk about that whole aspect of adoption. I don’t want to push ideas on him he’s not ready for - I guess I’m just surprised he hasn’t asked about it yet, as he’s very inquisitive and always asks lots of questions. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this and if I should be concerned about it at this point? Thanks - Beth
