I have recently adopted my granddaughter. My husband passed away between the time that we petitioned for adoption, and the time the adoption was granted. The judge has not yet filled out the papers, as he is reasearching whether or not he is allowed to place my husbands name on the adoption certificate. Anyone know the answer?
