Everyday lessons can turn into opportunities to talk about the past. And the future.
With each passing day, our son shares more about his life before us. This story telling is wonderful, frightening, and confusing all at the same time -- much like adoption itself.
Adopting an older child, we have missed many 'firsts' in his young life. But somehow that makes today's milestones even sweeter.
